That's neat that you routed the IC piping through the little opening behind the headlights. Did you have to make the hole bigger?

Its actually not a mariah, it is the factory racing body kit that mazda used in the 81-85 championships. The real original. I bought it off a driver that used to race RX-7's. It was never intended for street use, and mariah makes custom order of this kit in replica form.

The are made from charlotte racing. I had them powder coated gold. They were cheap and came in any custom offset.
what with the oil container next to the radiator?
Haha, that is my coolant overflow tank, the factory one didnt quite fit with the piping in the way, it kinda temporary, but works right?
I got dizzy looking at the engine shot, how did you take that picture?
I just held my arm in the air as high as I could and took the shot, did like three times until it was centered just right. I cant believe it turned out so good
That's neat that you routed the IC piping through the little opening behind the headlights. Did you have to make the hole bigger?
yeah I cut them out bigger and folded the edges under, it worked out really well, since my intercooler is in the front air dam, going through the radiator sides wouldnt work. plus mine is tilted foward.
have you done anything for weight?
I dont have any air conditioning, or front bumber support, No spare tire, aluminum radiator, little things. And the front end all fiberglass reduce weight off the nose, the rear is slightly heavier. i think the whole car is around 2500lbs. Thanks for the compliments. i have a whole bunch more pics to put on in a few hours!

That is me cleaning the strut brace, my Girlfriend took most of the pics. Here is a bunch more, notice the G-pads inside the cabin? Those are very nice in a car like this.....I can only describe the handling as Insane! Other shots include under the car, and you can see the custom tranny mounts ( took soooo long to cut those.. ) and a full aluminum undertray ( I made that too, dont ask how long it took to cut that motha!) and some pics of my custom 3"exhaust. Welds were done by my friend so we made them extra deisel'n. Enjoy!!

There is a shot of the simple turbo inlet duct, mad that from the 3" exhaust tubing. The rear strut brace was made by me (like everything else) but I wanted to paint it blue, just havent had time yet. That is a greddy boost gauge, and just behind it mounted outside is a fuel pressure gauge. And my prized steering wheel, MAZDA SPEED! So that's it, hope all of you liked it! It is not in great shape yet, still a work in progress, I have lots of body work left to do, and paint job on the way soon.
