How do you plan on shielding the idler arm bushing from the heat of the turbo?

Ok the radiator will is a aluminium race radiator made to fit inbetween the pipes.

I have some really cool aluminium shielding that is shiny as hell and disapates heat like nothing i have ever seen, and i got like 50 feet of it in my shop.

Im making a nice shield to go over the idler arm.

Could you please keep me updated on that idler arm shield. I just got my project running and turbo heat on my idler arm bushing is a big concern of mine.

thanks!

4k get you a s5 stock port motor tranny and the mounting of everything + Kevlar wraps and fuel pump, iol return and se pan and 1st gen front cover.

The ecu i recommend using a Micro tech 8sx for an extra 2,000$ you can drive the car out of the shop.

otherwise the ecu and wiring is on you.

looks good, but I don't really care for the blue turbo. Did you just tape off the front mount and spray paint the Mazda on it? Will that hurt the performance of the cooler at all?

The Microtech or any other after market ecu is always better from a performance and tuning standpoint. The only reason to retain the stock ecu would be for budget or emissions reasons.
