Do you have pics of your radiator mounted and fan?

Are those custom intercooler pipings? I am researching for a turbo2 swap for my FB in the near future. =]

For all you RO-Tard's out there i will not give write ups of the stuff that i have spent hundreds of man hour's to learn like wireing and fabrication.

If you want info on how to do the swap go elsewhere if you want a T2 OR TT in your FB then by all means pm me.

One member did a REW FC3S swap and painted the whole intercooler black...As far as I know, it had no real effect on it.

at least hes willing to do the swap. i have talked to the man in pm's and he was willing to help me out because of my budget. ie i do the install my self i send him the parts to be modded that are needed.

people have been painting intercoolers for years. mainly for sleeper reasons ie most people think its just a radiator.

I contribute my 2 cents that's more then some people deserve.

Everyone wants something for nothing

Im willing to help out but my kindness only goes so far.

That wasn't a spur in the side

Sometimes it isn't just the rotary that needs the Seafoam Treatment. It does a body good to take a pull off a bottle of "Mental Seafoam". Can't wait to see that roll down the road. The need for a 9" is a strong possibility.

8.8's are easier to find and are more economical. easily handles all a rotary has to dish out.

Or like Kentetsu said, just now:

hmmm......where i have never priced out an 8.8, i have found numerous 9" axles from different applications for under a C-note. in my humble opinion, a third member axle set up would be of a benifit on many different levels. I would imagine from a racers point of view( which i am not) it would be pretty cool to have the quick change ability going from different coarse to different coarse and being able to put a different third member in that would provide a more appropriate gear ratio for the specific coarse. Not to forget that the ford 9" ring gear is arguably the strongest ring gear out there. A spool is pretty cheap and sometimes they can be found for under $30. Disc brake conversions are also common and in the end it, as well as the 8.8, is a popular axle set up for high power set-ups( like that sick spinner that the man-in-black built)

let it be said that i am a huge fan of OVERKILL. and these words come from a humble person.

the only difference in swapping an tII and an NA would be the wiring correct?

Yep, pretty much any primate with a set of tools could do it easily. Right Nick?

Actually, there are one or two other things involved with the swap. Otherwise, I think we'd all be sporting forced induction...

You have different mounts and you have to have a REALLY GOOD GRASP of electrical to do it properly.

You need some shop tools that most people don't have.

https://www.rx7club.com/1st-generation-specific-1979-1985-18/pictures-my-shop-628069/

As you can see i have an advantage as far as making new parts.

I just found this thread and got up to speed. Man In Black what would it cost to get one of those heat shields made? You don't mind putting up a pic of it do ya? I don't want something for nothing ya know. I'm in the middle of my build and I don't think I will need it. I'm using a 60-1 and my manifold pushes it way forward and up, but Its always better to have to much protection than not enough. Also if you want to spend the extra money Granny speed shop has a ford 9" kit that comes with all the mounts ready to install. You can also get it with the FB lug pattern.

Dose any one know where to get a good aluminum radiator that will relatively fit our cars and wont break the bank? I have no problem with fab work to make it fit but it would be nice to have a drop in.
