Yeah, definitely get the rear kit to go along with the front coilovers. This will allow you to set the front/rear height exactly where you want it.

Have you replaced any suspension bushings yet? Tie rod ends and idler arm while you're at it.

If you plan on doing any racing in the future, then I would suggest the camber plates as well. The best time to install those is while you are doing the front struts.

Good luck man, and have fun....

Get a nice heavy swaybar from Racing Beat (if you're short on cash) or better yet, from Respeed (lighter weight and better design). Once you do that, you can keep your stock rear bar, or upgrade to an adjustable one if you want. The rear bar can be considered a low priority though, unless everything else has already been done to the car (coilovers, etc.).

An aftermarket swaybar will make one of the biggest differences in the overall feel of the car. A lot of people remove the rear bar to get rid of snap oversteer issues, but once you add a heavy front bar you can feel free to put the rear back on.

The adjustable rear spring perches from Respeed also are a great investment...

i do plan on getting the respeed sway bar, but i wanst sure what i can use for the rear. i also plan to get the rear coil over/ pearch kit from respeed.
any good options for a rear sway bar.

i mite try to do some autocross once and awhile but this is my summer dd.

theres this old warehouse near my home huge parking lot the police dont care if you mess around out there. i was out there with a few buddy's and a cop pulled up and started to do a break stand and doing donuts. funny he blew a tire out and i wound up giveing him my spare from my mercury lol. now and then people set up a drift track with cones, if i have enough power i mite try it.

i spend alot of my weekends up at my buddys place in nh, nice fast dirt roads ect. i cant wait for the summer when iam done with the motor swap and Suspension.

You might want to consider the rear swaybar as a low priority. If you have the cash to burn, then go ahead and pick up an adjustable for ***** and giggles. But if you're not hard core into racing, then your money will be better used elsewhere. Just keep the stock rear bar for now.

Definitely check out some autocrosses next spring, even if you feel your car isn't quite good enough. Remember, its 90% driver/10% car anyway in most cases.

about racing i could care less about winning, id rather have fun trying to my best my self ect. i learned to drive stick the day i got this car lol so iam a fast learner.
iam 22(today bday) iam not one of those kids that daddy and mommy buys every thing for them.i bought all my cars i have owned and done all the work my self.i dont have to much money to burn, but when i can i work on my rx-7 and the car me and my buddy bought (84 rs turbo capri) keeps me out of trouble . i wount street race, do not want to hurt any one and a friend got pulled out of his car and was hit with a baseball bat after beating some one. so i wouldnt want to take that chance to.

i just want to make my car quick and turn good, i love driveing around the back woods of nh. need to be able to turn good to avoid moose deers and bears.

i was looking at the scca web site and found out that they do rally cross around my neck of the woods. they said that most of the time its grass fields they run in or the crave out a snow track in the winter. i love watching rally raceing and its the only thing close to rally raceing i could see my self doing. pluse i dont have to worry about going off a cliff.how bad would that beat on my car.

thanks for the advice about the rear sway bar. i guess you helped me save money.

do i have to worry about beating on my car to much autocrossing. this is my dd during the summer.

Autocrossing is not hard on your car. Rallycross, on the other had, can be. If you are considering either one, then take that money you were going to spend on a rear swaybar, and put it toward Illumina shocks/struts. The five-way adjustability helps to keep the car streetable (on the low settings), but you can still stiffen things up for race day or any other spirited driving opportunities.

Check out www.re-speed.com and take a look at all the different options available.
