I have my drag radials on my stock wheels. I put those on so I dont burn out the tires around town.

What's wrong with posting an oppinion? I don't like a car designed to handle being taken in a straight line, that's what American cars are for. I built my car for handling and people don't understand why i'd do such a thing, taking a turn is much more fun and takes much more practice and skill than flooring a car in a straight line to see how much faster one car is than another (basically all car dependant).

When i'm asked "Is your car fast?" i reply "No, not in a straight line, i built it to handle well" i get eyes rolled at me.

Or "I see you're one of those street racers" i reply "no, i race on tracks" "oh, i see like at the drag strip here in town?" "no, like at AutoX"

"V8 guys" make fun of imports because they're treading on their form of racing, if imported cars stuck to what they're designed for, i feel there'd be no "turf" battle. Imported cars would stick to the form of racing they're good at, V8 Domestics would stick to the form of racing they're good at.

you cant say there is no skill involved in drag racing. have you heard of "bracket racing" ?????? it's not about being the fastest. it's about not beating yourself. alot harder than going around cones in a parking lot. dont get me wrong, i love auto-x as well and used to bash dragsters but after going to a few big events and seeing some real cars (including IMPORTS) i now have a newfound respect. i also plan to attend with my own vehicle a few times. it's all about fun! WOOHOOOO! good luck with your auto-x'ing. what car are you using now??? i thought the rex was put down.

Ok,now this is a load of crap!

What the hell is wrong with Dragracing?

Shheesh. The guy shares an experience he had with his Rx7,and then he gets a crap answer like this?

Grow the **** up.People differ.Interests differ.

Not everyone enjoys the same type of racing.

Just my 0.2 cents

And yes,i do drag and circuit racing with my 7
