Unhappy my rear suspension is shot i ned help

hey guys i have a 85 rx7 with a 12a but my problem is that the sheet metal on the rear wheel well rusted through and now theres a gapping hole so every time i took off i herd some sort of a rubbing noise ( think it had to do wit hthe rear drag link) well as like most dad mine says i can fix it like 2 years ago right well its still in the garage with 2 big holes in the rear end from hittin getttin crazy with the grinder. i dont even know what it used to look like and i was wondering if you guys could help me out. "dad" said where the drag link was connected to the frame possibly rusted through but not sure, please help me guys i want this car bak on the road so bad !!! i have pictures of wut it looks likeso if any one has any info for me please hook it up

rockin, looks like my 79(don't you love how our cars rot up here)...but you are missing youre upper trailing arms. in the 4th pic,(the one from inside) looks like someone has completely removed the bracket for the trailing arm all together, so im gonna suggest you don't drive the car until its repaired. im in the process of replacing the sections youre missing in the wheel well, but i managed to save the upper trailing arm brackets. im gonna be heading out to my shop tonight, so i could snap a few shots of what it should look like(minus parts of the inner wheel well)

Looks like someone coverted it over to a panhard set up with that extra bracket in pic 3.

thanks guys, would you guys have any pics of wut it should look like where all the missing metal is becuase i have no idea its been a while since this has happened, it has just been sittin in my garage till i got bak from college like 4 er 5 months ago. i dont kno wuts missing or wut needs to be there
ohh ya that would b great on snapping a few pics of the brackets i would apreciate it alot

ohh and how hard is it to convert to readr disc brakes, wondering if i could jus swap the rear end with a rx with disc?

Yes, you can swap the entire rear end, much easier most days. You will need to change the last brake cable on each side too.

Check ISC Racings website, they sell a panhard setup.
