Why do you have 2 base plate vents going to the oil fill and what are you doing about the fuel tank vent?

ok, can yo shed some light on what im looking for as far as the fuel tank vent? also i thought the top of the black purge valve went to hole 4, the bottom small one on the valve went to 3, and the big one went out, T'd, then one side went to the oil tube and the other to the carb vent. i think i have the top of the white solinoid pluged into the oil vent hose on the firewall, where is it supposed to plug to, and then where does the oil vent hose go?

could someone please just draw me a paint diagram, it would be worth archiving.

Ok, I thought you were doing the rats nest removal. I didn't realise you still had the solenoids and didn't understand that the large metal tube was the vent line from the fuel tank, you shuld be more specific. What did you do with the charcoal canister?

From where did you pull the information for what you've done so far?

That's how mine is setup. Minus the A/C solenoid and i took off the throttle opener as well. I didn't run a T though to the bottom of the charcoal canister. I believe that's correct.

My SETUP

Diagrams should explain themselves.

Note: I just left the carb vent open to atmosphere with a breather on it.

Hah forgot to label one thing on the ACV Diagram but no need. Just go by the chart and it should be fine.

It hooks up to the throttle opener. Look at a FSM and you should find it.

And also are you running AC even? If you're not i suggest just scrapping the throttle opener and blocking off the hole on the carb base for the sake of simplicity.

IMO anyways. =]

Ok. car runs perfect. just wont idle below 1k. all the powers there while taking it through the gears, but i think it has something to do with me not knowing where the throttle opener is, or if i have anything plugged into it.

I believe the oother thread you posted on the throttle opener has the throttle opener pointed out for you in Stevan's post.

It's not neccasary if you don't have AC btw. No AC: just plug the first vacuum hole from the left if your looking from the driver's side.
