man oh man that undercoating makes it look 100 times better. keep up the great work. Just out of curiousity what did you spray on there for the undercoating and whered you get it? I might like to try some of that out. Im sure it will keep it nice and rust free for a long time to come!

I got it at princess auto, on sale it was like 4 bucks a can instead of almost 7 bucks/can so i loaded up with it. As for the brand its made by kleen flo i believe. Rubberized under coating or some **** but it works wonders. Fills in the cracks and crevices where water can sit in, haha not any more. YA. Its gonna be a long weekend if I stay in town.

Well guys, I think im done for the "winter", my friend wanted his welder back cause he has some work to do with it, and my parents are gonna need the garage this coming up weekend to park the quad, so im **** out of luck for storing it here. So im in the process of putting it together so i can drive it to my grandparents place an hour away. To top it all off, I think that im going to be moving to saskatoon this winter to go live with my g/f and yea thats in an apartment so thats a no go for working on vehicles let alone leaving it sit there for half a year or whatever it might be. Hopfully i can find a decent job there and be able to rent a half of a house and then it would be all good. I'm hoping all goes well. For now the project is going to sleep for about half a year or better. When i get back into her ill be right back posting on this thread though. Its gonna be a sad day when I take the battery out and drive away leaving her there to be snow/wind/rain beaten..... Too bad i never had my own place i could park er in and still work over the winter.

Thats my plan for this/maybe next week too.

Well, nothing new really to add, just that I have it up and running now. Other then the gas gauge not working and oil press. not working, oh the tach too, but I think that sucker isnt working because of the cold and i didnt hook up the heater core so its going to be a chilly ride to park er. Anyways, I ripped apart the 12a that was originally in this car, and low and behold...... rear rotor has chrome stripped right off, i was like oh lord please let No.1 be allright. I got lucky with the front rotor there is barely any chrome missing, and where it is at is along the edges on the front side i believe, and like the length of the one is maybe half a cm longand maybe a couple mm back from the edge. The apex seals were all stuck in the grooves except one, that fell out when i popped out the rotor. Man carbon sucks, this person either never drove it hard enough that often to clean it out, or left it sit forever and started it, or high speed revving and tore off the crhome??? i dont know. Maybe tonight ill take a few pictures to show you guys and let me know what you think. But for all the parts i have, im going to set up a display in my room on the clothes cabinet. a 4 rotor beast for display. I think it'll look cool, the gf won't think that so though, at least its not at her place.... YET!
