-13B Twin Turbo out of a 1995 or later RX-7 (belive to be J-Spec
-Black painted under hood
-Changing Bolt Patern to 4x100
-Custom Disc Brake job
-Looking into switching out the tanny gear set w/ miata or some other newer set (hope I can find a Porsche one)
-Custom Guage cluster
-Lazy Eye Light kit
-Haltech Comp (for now got a j-spec Cosmo comp for same engine)

Looks great. Good luck, but might I suggest a color other than black to paint the under hood since that soaks up heat and under hood is already more than hot enough!

why not just get an adapter for a racing dogmission instead of a miata (too weak for the power probably) or adapting a porsche?

i agree, why not a 5 bolt pattern? its stronger. i could understand it if you already had rims though, or know where a cheap set is. in that case, i would do the same thing. good luck with the project.

my dad who builds race cars said it would be easiest to just go with something close to the original. And I don't think I am being too ambitious, have alot all ready done, and setting painting appt soon.

As far as a tranny, i haven't a clue as to what I am going to do there, I have 2 83 trannies, one I am going to run for now (very carefully thats how) the other I am going to get modded. Anyone know what all gear sets will fit in it, don't feel like trying to hang a different tranny really, unless I have to

you said a porsche tranny so i assumed if you were going to be adapting trannies, why not go for the gold.

Go with a T2 unit. I did a write up on how to put one in a FB with stock shifter location. Look in the 1st gen archives section under T2 transmission swap or something like that. It's in there with pic's
