My new shift ****

Got it from MazdaRacing.com, it really shortens the throw and is nice and heavy. They shipped it really fast and got to me 2 days before it was scheduled to arrive.

Re: My new shift ****

Looks nice! On hot days, throw a little towel over it, as they get real hot in the sun.

While you're in a picture taking mood...

Start a thread with pics of your car, engine, etc..

...I am always collecting Turbo FB Pics..

Well, my car doesn't look real hot right now, bent and broke some wheels hydroplaning.

Once I get the wheels back on the car I will take some pics.

I like the two kitties in your avatar, rowr!!!

Hot in the summer is so true, I bought a Chrome Skull, and in the summer, I can barely stand to shift from gear to gear. It also fits in the palm real good. Bought it for around $5 at Autozone. How'd you get those guages to sit in that dead space?

My friend mounted a plastic plate there when he installed my stereo and stuff.

He bent a metal piece, threw some screws through it to hold everything together and VOILA!!

Do you know if he used the stock mounting bracket? I need to cover up that hole.

Here's what I have...

It weighs a good 10-12oz.
[edit] I also think I found a way around covering my dead space, there are screw holes on the inside of the plastic "frame" that is the center console. I just have to find/fabricate a piece of plastic that I can screw in. But thank you for the inspiration. I might also put some guages there, but that will come later.

If you only need to mount one gauge, you can just get rid of the clock

That shifter looks very nice, I might have to get one along with a leather boot from Mantis.

This one weighs 6.3 ounces, but makes shifts much easier and less notchy, if you know what I mean.

I have had "performance" shift ***** before, but this one is the best by far.
