Great work man! I'm building a 13b for my project FB, but the route you chose is genuinely bad-***! I can really appreciate all the time, effort, and labor that you've poured into your baby-it's all in the details. Keep up the good work and post some more pics for us to drool over...

Theres more support for KA's now then ever before. www.ka-t.org
for the most part your right, everything that is available for the sr is available for the ka now adays however some items that i believe is a godsend the ka'ers dont quite have yet. like ATI dampers...bolt on sensor adapters, oil pans, ect...all stuff that doesnt matter but just makes some things easier.

either way though doesnt make a big difference to me...as i fab up have my **** anyways.

i love the car. all around sweetness. with all that work to the rear what did you do with the front? you need a respeed R&P set up.

what did that toyota rearend come out of? how hard is it to convert it to disc? you say it was close to the right length. did you have to cut and shorten it? if so, any pics of the process or the rearend apart? is it LSD?

toyota rear end came from a 91-93 (i believe thats the years) 2wd pickup they do not come stock with locked but you can buy them. the swap is as easy as, cutting off the rx7s stock brackets and welding them in the same locations on the toyota one.

as far as disc brake conversions go it cost around 400 bucks and you can get them from downeyoff-road.com...

as for the front suspension setup im going with respeeds coilover kit (i was going to do the same coilovers as the rear (except for the front pair) and mate them to the stock suspension setup, but i figured this would be more cost effective...

btw...the rear end did not have to be cut or shortened, just the brackets swapped. and i did not take pics of the rear end during the swap, however i can take better pics of the rearend setup if need be.

and for future reference, you can fit 10inch wide rims if you have a +25 offset thats on stock wheel tubes

Why is there always a guy that thinks SR20s are good or something? I don't get it. I guess they just don't know anything about well built engines.

Love the KA btw I helped a buddy boost one a couple years back. Motor was stock with a 911 Turbo Porsche turbo a K26 or something like that. It was pretty fast in his S14. Unfortunetely the airbags deployed while he was driving and the car was crashed. Hence ending it's life
