First a question...

Q. When I turn on my car, the tach jumps like its acting as a Voltmeter, because when I needed to use boosters it just went right off the scale.. (this is in the video)

Any suggestions??

Well time for an update.. I took her for the first drive on Friday.. and she purrs..

there is alot to do still but I found my Ignition Problem but 3 new problems just sprung up..

here is the video of the car I could not get more vid cause there were cops parked a few Plazas down and they started to ask many questions I think they liked the car cause the firs question was not... Why are you driving with no plates (INDUSTRIAL AREA) .. but rather, what is that I have never seen a car like that so we had a nice chat and I asked them to keep an eye on my car..

so without further delay.....

ON Need your help and opinions (RIMS)

Well some know that I have recently picked up a Widebody SA (https://www.rx7club.com/showthread.php?t=746658)

Now I have a problem, the rims on the car (from what Ive been told on here) are from a Puma kit car and are made in Australia. One of the front rims was dented and I tried to get it straightened but with no luck as it is really warped..

So I am kinda lost as what to do..

I have tried to locate another rim like mine but with no luck so far (IF you know where I can get one PM me NOW )

Now I have a decision to make, I have a friend with 13X8 or 13X9 not sure talked to him a while back that he is willing to sell me for $400CAN no rubber..

Or I can pick up a set of ROTAS (http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...ksid=p3907.m29)

So I am asking all you good people for help.. Either to locate a rim (in the pic of the car in the post)

or an opinion on how it will look with the ROTAS

cause the 13's I think might be too small.. again any and every opinion matters..

Thank you for reading this and maybe helping out...

-Max

That's an SA, so the tach IS a volt meter when the key is on, engine not running.

Sweet find. I wouldn't hold out much hope of finding a wheel, though. 4x110 is hard enough to locate. Add in the width and offset required, even harder. Toss in the uniqueness of those wheels, and I'd say hens teeth are more common.

NOOOOOOOOO I really really wanted to keep those rims on, I just might keep these and try and locate another to complete the set in the future..

I can get a great deal on these, they are from Trinadad, they are 13X9 in the back and 13X7 up front really deep dish..

take a look, I think of picking these up and using them for this summer and hopefully by next summer I can get my hands on the missing 15' rim to complete my set.

here is a pic

I dont think it would look too bad with the 13's might be to small.. but they are a great deal!!

Man, those old school rims would look pretty sweet on that ride. If they're a good deal, and will fit the car, filling up most of the widebody fenders, I don't see how you could go wrong.

Well I found where my rims came from.. http://www.performancewheels.com.au
Called "Challenger"
they have a good selection of rims and they make custom bolt patterns.. I dont know about cost...

In any case wanted to share the link with all my 4X110 comrades.

Another time for an update...

As you can tell from the pictures the sunroof is an aftermarket unit.. which was installed wrong, and it rotted the roof... and leaked all inside the pass area.
I have a 83 GSL with the sunroof so I decided to cut the roof from the 83 and put it on my SA.. The roof is cut from the GSL and today the welding will commence. (did anyone do this before?) the GSL roof On an SA?

also re welded all the floors and the rear bin area.. this is done.. but it also needs the rails which I am in the process of welding on.. but no hoist so i will put the car at a 45 degree angle first on one side then on the other .(will show pics of progress)

Why oh why do Ontario cars ROT??
