Looks like some sort of dual side draft Weber setup maybe? I'm not familiar with that particular intake manifold though. I know that Rotary Engineering had a dual Weber 36 DCD setup, but I think it sits up higher on the side of the engine since they are down draft carbs? I could be all wet here, but just some ideas to help you start researching.

Some more pictures

Well, I got the Sa to my garage and started taking the 4 port 13B engine apart, I have found a nest of some sort inside the rear housing. It took me a few hours carefuly removing it, now the motor turns by hand and makes compression no numbers yet as I am going to start it today.

But here are a few more pics

There is a Heat shield thats located right under the manifold, also I was thinking of making an intake box that leads to the front air dam..

The carbs are Webber's I have been trying to find out about this setup for some time now.

It Runs.. Took me all of saturday to get her going, she smoked like a pig blowing all of the Aft and other junk out of the housings, I hit a few snafu's along the way..

I had 2 electrical fires as the person who wired the Voltmeter did a horrible job.

The accelerator cable ripped.

The Choke cables ripped.

The Coolant hoses started to shower me with green goodness.

And the clutch has fused so I will try to pop it into gear from a roll.. there is still hope

After all is said and done this motor seems strong, after starting it had no problem holding idle.. a little high around 1,100 RPM but I had no timing light and I know I have to change a few gaskets on the carbs, and re-tune.

The throttle response is amazing, much better then my Street port 12A with a 48 Webber.

I will post some more pics and videos.

The resurrection has began

Time for an Update,

This weekend I got to take a drive..

When I got the car the Clutch has fused to the flywheel, and you could not go into gear at all. This eliminated to possibility to drive it to a hoist, so I used an old Russian Method that Lada mechanics used on cars that were parked long.

It was a simple procedure, smokey noisy but worked.

First I jacked up the rear of the car with the wheels off the ground
Started the car in 3rd gear while holding the clutch (wheels still spinning)
revved the engine to about 120Km/h (still on the clutch)
At this point I slammed on the Brakes while still Revving and holding the clutch
took a few tries but the clutch broke free

Now its noisy getting into gear but at least I can drive it to a shop where I can remedy the problem on a Hoist.

Now the healing begins.. Wiring.. ARG!!!

Sweet car, killer carbs.

Those are dual Weber DCOE sidedraft carbs with a manifold made by TWM Induction. Very very rare.

Not Dual Weber DCD progressive downdraft. Good luck with the car!

I like your wide body kit better than the black 7's. It's flows a bit better!
