My MSD sparks

Well not the MSD but the wires where connected to the plugs. i didnt realize till showning a freind a minute ago that it seems they glow at night just the leading that i hooked up i was wondering if this is regular. Also i hooked up the MSD ignition on switch to the stereo fuse block i was wondering if there is a better ignition on for me. thanks

glowing...possible cracked boot. try replacing it.

Run it directly to the alternator but add an in-line fuse for safety reason. Better yet, upgrade your fusible liink to FC or older 323. With mine, I have more than enough slot for an amp, e-fan and MSD 6AL.

Sounds like a plan i also have a electric fan, amp, and of course MSD6A. Craked boot? sorry for being retarded but is boot of the spark plug? And running of the amp which wire should i connect, the single one held on by a Bolt? thanks wacky

yes, spark plug wire boot.

Yeah, the fuseblock upgrade will keep the engine bay clean and less clutter. I also upgraded my RX-3 and bros as well. Now with the amp, connecting it directly to the fuseblock will eliminate the need for an in-line fuse.

is it as simple as it sounds just hook up the FC fuses in place where the links are wire for wire? Any plugs recommended im using the 4 prong NGKs noy sure exact model #

simple cut and resolder to the fuseblock pigtail or use large female connector.
I only use the breqxxx or 4 prongs and FC for driving around town. But my favorites are b9ev's or b10ev's and have been lucky with the autolite race plugs.

also, be sure to grab the FC fuseblock bracket. Just trim the end and it will work on 1st gen.
