My first time at the track!
Well here is the time slip of my best ET
Reaction : .367
I1 : 2.575
I3 : 11.362
E.T. : 17.701 @ 79MPH
and my best reaction time was .053 but I missed my 3rd gear shift:p
I wanted to test my car before I would install my Full RB Exhaust system.. one of the reasons my time was slow is that I've got my huge sound system in the trunk..
Next time, I'm going to take off my box with the 2 6x9's, take off the spare tire, take off the jack, and I will have my Full RB Exhaust system + a K&N Air Filter(mine is all dirty) and I might do the mechanical secondaries while I'm at it..
With all that, I'm hoping to get a low 16 or "maybe" a high 15
What do you guys think?

Good job at the track! I think if you remove the weight you'll run a little quicker. The secondaries shouldn't make that much of a difference because you're w.o.t. the whole run. At 79 mph your time should've ben a little quicker. Were you spinning the tires on the start? F.Y.I., you're reaction time has no effect on your elapsed time.

my tires were spinning a little yea.. I launched at around 4500RPM.. and what do you mean my reaction time makes no difference for the ET? Isn't the reaction time the time between when the light goes green and when I start? If I have a reaction time of like 1 second, won't my ET be affected?

Ok, when you're on the starting line, your tires interrupt an infrared beam of light that goes across the track. Your time starts when your tires roll out of that beam. The light could be green for an hour and as long as you're still in the beams, your time hasn't started. As far as the launch, you might want to launch at a lower RPM. When you spin your tires you're losing time. Hope this helps!

When I had my upen diff and street tires I found that if you hold the revs at right around 3500, and floor it at the same time you dump the clutch, I was getting the best balance between tire spin and and not boging the motor....
