Question My first gen...

Hey I'm 16, and i know how rx7' work, im almost at the point where i can build a 13B (my brother has a second gen, and he is part of this forum) and I was wondering, i have-getting a great condition 1st gen (83 to be exact) and i have plans for it, but the biggst plans are: swapping out the junk 12A and replacing it with a Turbo II 13B, i can do all the work along with my brother, we know all the parts we need, and we think it could rip. Think i should do it?

Although you can create a pretty good amount of power out of a 13bt I would still have to say that I would go with a 12a...get a heavy bridgeport...lightened rotors and flywheel...racing clutch...short stroke shifter and put a huge *** turbo on it...and guarnteed you'll create a **** load of power!! You'll never regret it...at least I don't!!

WELL I what i was gonna do is have 3 mm apex seals on the 13B Rotors, with a garrett 24 in front mount, custom piping to the T27 Turbo, with all the other misc. stuff needed, plus a 50 mm blowoff valve, brand new rad, port and polish everything, it could be a beast.

let off the gas to keep the boost down in 5th =) I don't think he was making fun of you just saying you'll have tons of power.

Jose, what an exaggerator you are...

You do not lose traction in 5th, Especially with those drag radials.
Damn - you've been around cubans too long.

About 2 months ago alex i swapped rims with my borther miguel and i put his mesh rims 15x7 with regular street tires and took the car to work . well on the way to work i was being followed by a Nissan sentra R and he was feeling a bit overconfident . well as we both proceeded to turn on 111 av north of nw 12st by dolphin mall he decided to seriously haul *** so i decided ok why not . well i gave him about a 6 car lead and then i decided to punch it while in 4th gear . when i hit 5th gear and it went into boost i actuall started losing traction and going sideways while catching the sentra . my 7 passed him with the tires howling .lol good car control was from all the years of drifting!!! so yes Alex you can lose traction in 5th gear I wasnt exxagerating. . but with drag radials i have NOW i feel like im part of the star trek movie when the ship goes into warp speed . hahaha .
i dont think you would drive yours either without the drag radials i sold you ? and yours is way way faster than mine .
