Well my starter just shitted on me...i had to push start her after i got off of work...fun times. Anyways just a real quick questions guys...how much do starters run for our cars....i gots me an 82' GS 12A. Thanks in advance for any info.

autozone.com says that for an 83 (I just left it with my settings) a starter is 70 + 25 core.

Have you tried hammering the starter a little bit? The brushes on the starter on my Jeep are going bad, but all I have to do is tap it a couple times with a hammer, and it starts right up.

I'd say try that in the meantime while waiting to put the other starter on.
