Exclamation My Dream is...

To have a Zero Emission Rotary High Performance Engine. I have decided not to do any upgrade until they are out or I end up buying a Zero Emission High Performance Car in the near future. This damn Global Warming is not a joke and I guess I have decided to join the green tree campaign.

Sorry guys, I just wanted to express my self, I have see all 4 season happen pretty much this fall and is some scary sh*t including my black-out that was over 24 hours with an ETA 3 to 5 days for others in Washington State.

Beside that I have been seeing a lot of new Hybrid Sport cars coming out in the following next few years. I see a lot of company are taking this serious and maybe they will work on some nice Zero Emission Rotary Engines.

What do you guys think?

A Zero Emission Rotary would be nice but I don’t have that kind of cash to put out. I have been watching the speed channel the last couple of nights and I have seen some sport car that ran on 12 batteries and put out a 100hp.

But global warming is pretty crazy I live in Michigan and its December but we have no snow and it around 40 degrees out (I’m starting to wish I never put my 7 in storage). Usually by now we have a few feet of snow. But to start postponing global warming more people will have to act. And with our economy the way it is I don’t see that happening any time soon.

There is not enough evidence to disprove or prove global warming yet. There has been evidence in ice cores that there are warmer periods of time in the past and there has been evidence of colder periods. There just isn't enough data to fit either scenario and everything I've seen documentary wise has been biased towards prove or disproving it.

It is entirely possible that everything we, as humans are doing, is only speeding up a natural cycle that would happen either way.

I used to live in northern michigan and a kid I remember one christmas with no snow until late in decemeber (this was like 13 years ago) then a few years later 2 record breaking years with 300 inches of snow.

I would have edited my last post again, but it wouldn't let me for some reason.

I forgot to add that all three years, the no snow, and the two 300 inch years were blamed on global warming...so...yeah...which is it?

If we are experiencing a warming period, then we cannot do jack to stop it. Did we cause it or is it a natural variation, the jury's out. Would it help if we reduced emissions, you bet. We've cleaned up cars a lot, the biggest sources of CO2 are our power plants. We still burn too much coal. As one of the ex-founders of Green Peace said "maybe the answer is nuclear".

I just read an article discussing the melting artic ice and its affect on our climate. The interesting point was that the whole melting cycle has started and it cannot be reversed by anything we do. It has to play out in the world through the complexities of the oceanic control of our weather patterns, of which we know just a little about.

BTW, this should probabty move to lounge soon
