My day

I set aside the day for getting stuff done on the recently aquired $250 rx7. Today I flushed the coolant system, and ran some coolant system sealent in attempt to stop the small coolant leak, and it seems to have done the trick, at least for now. I changed the coolant infested oil. Then I went to stripping the front of the car. I got the hood and fenders off but have had no luck with the front bumper. There is nothing more then surface rust under the fenders and Im real happy about that but in the process I broke about 5 different screws/bolts. Needed to hold the fender on. I also found out that I not only have a racing beat muffler system. But its the street port version from header all the way to muffler.

Nice! Sounds like you got yourself quite a nice little project there. FWIW, advice for the future dismantling, keep a can of PB Blaster next to you and blast anything that doesn't come off with relative ease some time before actually really trying to get it off. I've found this stuff will make getting almost any bolt off a heck of a lot easier without busting them.

Eventually it will be worth alot more, and worth a rebuild. The car is completly straight in all the major areas. Just needs some love really. The rebuild will come last when the whole car is done and after that engine wont run at all.
