Question My car is bogging/hesitates at high end... >5K RPM sigh

It used to run fine, not sure what I do and caused this problem. Float level is fine, fuel psi was at 2.5, idle fine, car drives smooth until I floor it. It bogs at around 5k past on second and as soon as I shift... the car continues to bog and keep bogging. It's not bogging like very jerky bog but you can tell the car isn't going anywhere like it is hesitating. I thought it was maybe rich? Tuned it down to 2 PSI and it still did the same.

I have a Yaw carb.

I was told maybe, the fuel return line needs to be pinched cause there's not enough in the float?

So thank YOU for the shell, least I could do was spare some door panels.

I checked with the ghetto timing light. Not sure how to adjust it but it was fine. I was thinking that can be the problem, too.

alright common causes
clogged cat
clogged/dirty fuel filter
secondaries not hooked up

so even if the filter is new, check it because you may have some dirt in your gas tank and it could clog the filter.

Don't think the filters are clogged, however, I felt that thing that suppose to shut off fuel when the car is flipped over or something. I bypassed it and the fuel psi jumped .5. That wasn't the problem though, the trailing timing is off. I tried to turn it to 24/16 as Yaw Power suggested. The leading is fine but the trailing is off. Not sure what's the problem with that. And, maybe the secondary vacuum isn't working properly?

if you feel that your fuel is fine, switch back to NGK spark plug wires.
