CA My 79 Sa22C Project

Hey guys,

Not entirely new to this, but here we go anyway.

Picked up this 79 a little over a year ago, classic ran when parked special.
Previous owner bought it from the original owner and never put in his name.

16 years later, late fees, oxidation and rust, i told this bitch to wake up hahaha.

Car needed EVERYTHING.
Got the gas tank RE-done, Radiator RE-cored
Installed new brake lines front and rear, I also Upgraded to S2 Front brake Calipers and brackets.
New Hub Assemblies and bearings
All new rear suspension bushings (superpro)
Big axle GSL rear end with discs
Dual Electric Fan setup on a thermostat
Fresh water pump and all cooling components
Some sick *** star sharks
Brake Booster, Brake Master

I dont know what my future plans are.

For now, with a baby on the way i gotta work with what i have already purchased, and go from there

All the car needs are Coilovers, Inner tie rod ends, strut bar to chassis mount bushings, pitman arm, and ball joints,

Its pretty much done to my liking. But i walked out yesterday morning to find a small puddle of gear oil and im pretty sure i destroyed an axle seal the other day after a small burnout at work haha.

for now, ill just stare at it. ahah

Great Resurrection! Enjoy. Bit shocked at rust around rear hatch (??) and antenna mount? Hope it does not portend worse issues buried beneath! Would urge you to yank up that rear hatch seal (rust prone) area and clean that up. Make sure you check the DRAIN hole/tubes (2 or 3 - depending on chassis SN - in the hatch, 2 on the sunroof) to make sure they are clear.
