congrats on being "done".
[whispers & chuckles]we'll see how long that lasts.[/whispers & chuckles]
that interior is beautiful. i particularly love the door panels. care to share your secret? also, what rear spoiler is that? blends lovely with the original lines.
a strong 8.5 in my eyes. great job.

lol. Thanks guys. Key to the door panels? easy. Rip the carpet off the inserts. Throw away the plastic pocket altogether, and recover the leftover cardboard pieces that the carpet was glued to with some foam and vinyl. Looks awesome. Rear spoiler? More welding. Which I'm an amateur at , with help from my old man and some Rage Gold Filler. (Very little mind you. less than an 1/8 almost everywhere... Thickest would be where someone else fixed the PO's accident...

Thanks for the compliments! I'll try and get some more close-ups done and a few other pics so you can get better detail. The colour comes out looking tired on these pictures. Not sure why. Looks like its still wet in real life! have to screw around with the digi-cam settings I guess. It used to be an 85.
And I guess I'm never done... lol. I gotta fix the wheel gap. It's driving me nuts. waaay too big. But I can't go any lower or the car won't clear the lift in the shop... It's withing 1/4" already. So I'm thinking.... Ford 9" in the back. Mustang II w/ Power R&P in the Front. Some 18's, and a V8 with a 5 speed revving 7000 RPM. What'd I miss???
Man, that's a tall work order.... I'm thinking I'll have to get outta school first...

Seats are Ebay Mazdaspeed ones. Just be careful.. They're way to wide. And If I hadn't redone the seat perches and sliders, they'd be way to tall. Now sit lower than I used to! And they're technically PVC leather. But they're really not bad looking at all!
List of goodies: Fiberglass Airdam from local RX7 guy who has a mold. shortened by 3 or 4 inches.
Front/rear bumper shocks shortened 2 inches. front bumper replaced with big peice of iron. Back one put back.

Rear Fenders rolled to allow 205/60/15s in back on those K1s...

Oooo wheee! Looks great, I have to see it in person sometime soon. Damn it, you and A.J. are making my car look horrible. That thing is begging for some forced induction. TII swap, you know you want to.
