I'm gonna hope these work... but there it is! comments/questions/suggestions welcome.

Now somebody try to talk me out of a SBC cuz I have all summer to make up mind, but next winter it needs some go-fast...

Many many props on that kit ... Are you a welder by trade? Or did someone do that work for you?

congrats on being "done".

[whispers & chuckles]we'll see how long that lasts.[/whispers & chuckles]

that interior is beautiful. i particularly love the door panels. care to share your secret? also, what rear spoiler is that? blends lovely with the original lines.

a strong 8.5 in my eyes. great job.

lol. Thanks guys. Key to the door panels? easy. Rip the carpet off the inserts. Throw away the plastic pocket altogether, and recover the leftover cardboard pieces that the carpet was glued to with some foam and vinyl. Looks awesome. Rear spoiler? More welding. Which I'm an amateur at , with help from my old man and some Rage Gold Filler. (Very little mind you. less than an 1/8 almost everywhere... Thickest would be where someone else fixed the PO's accident...

Well now, that is a pretty 7, body mutilation and all. I like it totally. Red and black comes out you like it should, pure sex. What did it used to be, an 83 or so?

Nice work Mr. RotaryBoy!

Thanks for the compliments! I'll try and get some more close-ups done and a few other pics so you can get better detail. The colour comes out looking tired on these pictures. Not sure why. Looks like its still wet in real life! have to screw around with the digi-cam settings I guess. It used to be an 85.

And I guess I'm never done... lol. I gotta fix the wheel gap. It's driving me nuts. waaay too big. But I can't go any lower or the car won't clear the lift in the shop... It's withing 1/4" already. So I'm thinking.... Ford 9" in the back. Mustang II w/ Power R&P in the Front. Some 18's, and a V8 with a 5 speed revving 7000 RPM. What'd I miss???
Man, that's a tall work order.... I'm thinking I'll have to get outta school first...

It took some squinting, but those seats say MazdaSpeed on them, yes? I'd love to know where you got those.

Overall, a beautiful job, man. Very clean, very classy. I see less IROC and more Italian exotic, actually.

Seats are Ebay Mazdaspeed ones. Just be careful.. They're way to wide. And If I hadn't redone the seat perches and sliders, they'd be way to tall. Now sit lower than I used to! And they're technically PVC leather. But they're really not bad looking at all!

List of goodies: Fiberglass Airdam from local RX7 guy who has a mold. shortened by 3 or 4 inches.
Front/rear bumper shocks shortened 2 inches. front bumper replaced with big peice of iron. Back one put back.
Metal work for the nose\sideskirts\rear\spoiler\Liscence plate relocate was all done at home
Rear Fenders rolled to allow 205/60/15s in back on those K1s...
Lite-n-bolts from summit to light up the back liscence plate
Electric Life 4- channel Shaved door handle kit from Summit.
Chennels 1/2 are doors, 3 is the Gas tank filler door, 4 is the hatch glass.
Wiring was done at home with some relays from a surplus store.
Tuner Mesh grill stuff from local Partsource forthe front.
Mazdaspeed seats/floormats/horn button from ebay
black carpet kit from Ebay. (Search 79-85 RX7 crazy special price. Make sure you get upgraded carpets.)
Modified Stock Seat sliders and custom floor brackets to mount them so I stay nice and low.
repainted unbroken stereo console. Ashtray is still broken.

Sony head and 4 channel, running Eclipse 4-way 6x9s in back and Boston 4" in front. Rockford 600w running a Rockford Fast&Furious 12" DVC in the storage compartment.

Door panels redone with vinyl and foam. Deleted the pockets from the door panels.
Custom Metal door pull cups cuz my plastic ones were broken. I'll get pics of these, but man did they turn out. and they're unbreakable!
Shitty Ractive pedal covers. Gas pedal actually properly screwed down to the stock pedal. not strapped on with the crap they give you....

Motor: Racing Beat intake with Holley 390cfm S-Tune. (S stands for shitty. Too lazy to tune...)
custom "Fredders" (2.5" headers.) into a 2.5" cherry bomb into the stock rear section. Magnaflow tips on the stock muffler...
MSD 6A with 2 blaster coils.
Emissions disappeared.

Oooo wheee! Looks great, I have to see it in person sometime soon. Damn it, you and A.J. are making my car look horrible. That thing is begging for some forced induction. TII swap, you know you want to.
