I doubt the right hand side seat will as the FB has a big buldge for the exhaust and the seat has the rail raised and offset to clear it. I would guess it would be the same procedure as fitting FD seats in a 1st gen

u call swapping seat a big job? try swapping an auto out for a 5 speed by yourself..
after my swap, changing seats is easier than changin sparkplugs

Seats are easy man... I've taken out seats simply to vacuum a car, or make it easier to install a stereo... (In my old Civic Wagon, I bolted the CD changer to the bottom of the seat for stealth purposes. )
Go ahead and try... It's four bolts at each corner, perfectly straight forward... There may be a pair of wires for the seatbelt receptor that you have to deal with, but I doubt it... IIRC, the FB doesn't have a put your seatbelt on reminder...

...94% correct.
4 bolts...14mm if I'm not mistaken. You turn these bolts counter-clockwise until completely out. Put them in a small paile out of the way...bonus points if you make a lil teepee.
Next, lift seats out of car. Place in pile out of the way, bonus points if you make a lil teepee...

rant on<
This thread is pointless. Why ask dumb questions. Thank you for wasting this space on the server.
>rant off
Why don't you try it since you have the seats and the car and let us know.

Exactly, but he did it and that's what counts. If you are going to do a project then ask away. That is what this forum is for. This thread has no purpose because he personally isn't doing the project. He should be docked post counts for this.

I'm not dissing Greg at all, but to call him a god is a huge exaggeration!!! I give him props for even attempting the 5spd swap. I wouldn't have even bought the auto, but he had the courage to do it, so... Glad he did it.
If you have seats- it's freaking 4 bolts to pull out your current seats. Try it, if it won't fit, put your old ones back!!!
