Right now I believe I have a stock exhaust system except for the RB headers that I bought my car with. Im wondering what muffler sounds best on a 12a that wont make it sound to loud? Also, is it worth investing in a full exhaust system?

 

It would, imo be worth it as the exhausts is the first and easiest place to add hp. The best muffler that will not be too loud is the Racing Beat Power Pulse. Others MAY make more power but will be louder, some much louder (and many wont make any more power than the power pulse).

 

road race (dual) headers straight to a dual inlet RB muffler is the way to go. i think the rb exhaust is far too quiet to have presilencers added in. i've heard cars with borla mufflers sound very nice, as with a magnaflow. all depends on what you want.

My setup goes RB Street Header to Borla pre-silencer to the Racing Beat Universal. It sounds amazing in my opinion. Not loud at all, which I like. When you hit the throttle, you can hear it, but not stupid loud.

I had a Magnaflow on there prior to the RB, and it sounded TERRIBLE. Raspy, loud, irritating. I never got on it hard because it was too loud.
