MSD Ignition/Coil(s)

Can I install a MSD Ignition on my 81 12a and if so does anyone have a part number or where can I order it, btw I got the accel 8.8 im waiting to see what msd I or if I can use, also what kind of performance will I gain

yeah you can. www.mazspeed.com has a tutorial somewhere. You won't gain any performance if your stock one is actually working correctly. If Didn't help me a damn bit.

I have to vote for the DLIDFIS by Jeff20B

spend the left over money on something else it needs

If you have the patience for DLIFIS assembly, i've heard that it's amazing. The first 7 I purchased had MSD coils, so I just swapped those for the factory coils. Apparently my stock coils were tired because I definately felt a difference in smoothness, ease of starting, and top end performance. The top end wasn't as lethargic, I can't say that it was any more powerful, but it sure felt like it.

I've never been known for patience.

That's why I drive an RX-7

But it was not hard to put together and did make a differance to the Butt Dyno and even more to the Tin Ear.

i was looking into getting the msd blaster 3's so just afew questions, one I need two of them corect?? lol, second is there anything else ill need to buy in order for these things to work or is it just buy and install???
