JUST got my new MSD BOX. basically it is the upgrade of MSD 6(more power
). one Q since I am pretty new on this , I to know if any one hook up the MAD in tradional way not direct fire . I have 13B PP in 2 GEN with IDA and distributor. the only upgrade on the ign is MSD coil. but after see the Mazdatrix EP race car, and they are running 2 MAD 7AL-2 so I figure if they are using this, mabe I should!?? so went to order one.

The traditional way is not good because it goes through the cap and rotor. Do direct fire with a DIS coil if the 7 is compatible (I'm sure it is, but I don't know very much about the 7).
