msd 6al vs. streetfire 5520 ignition

I wanted to see if anyone has any info regarding the streetfire setup. I looked at the specs and there about the same. This is somewhat cheaper to buy than the 6al box. I havent done my research about changing over just yet. Just heard that it does wonders for the ignition. My question with this in mind do you need one or two boxes for this to be done completely.

to do it completely? you can use 1 or you can use 3. i have 1 streetfire, its wonderful. it sits on my afm. does it help much? depends on how bad your current ignition system is.

MSD 6A is cheaper than the 6AL. It's the same thing as the 6AL, with no limiter.

Also, with only one box you can only limit the leadings with the 6AL. So you might as well just get the 6A or three 6AL's to you use the limiter properly.

well kinda. read this whole thread and make a more informed decision. I run Mallory VI-A now because it's as good as the D6+ and it's cheaper than a MSD 6A..
