MSD 6al

My buddy gave me some msd blaster coils and is sellin me msd 6al's... does anyone have these on there 7? Im a noob... should i buy? Any input would be grateful-

i've heard good things but, i've never used one myself. it seems like what could go wrong, its just better spark more often? famous last words? maybe.

It'll work. If you search the board, theres instructions on how to wire it up. After I installed the MSD, my alternator needed to be upgraded to a 2nd gen. There wasn't enough power to raise the headlights when I'd turn them on!

hey fellow chicagoan... thats what i kinda figured... im just startin to put money into my car so... at 240 a box at the msd site... 300 for 2 sounds good.- yay? or nay? i say yay.

lol... i need a new alternator!.... mines is starting to make a squeeking sound. I can use a second gen alt???? Cus i need one. I need to find a 2nd gen alternator now. ... and a better battery too.

The MSD works great. I have one on my car simply because the leading igniters went out on mine but the trailing ones were good. But anyway the car runs like a dream. definatley buy.
