WA motor swap

wat do i need to do to put a 1.3 in my first gen body. im going to convert it to carb so i don't need to computer for everything. i am gonna use a ignition controller for the now cam driven ignition.

Hello, fellow Des Moineser. What color is your car? You may have seen my white '83 or my old orange rotary GLC around.

You'll find this has been covered a lot. Try searching for "13b swap" or something similar. I think there's an entry in the FAQ for it.

Basically, if you're going with a carb, it's easy. Get a fuel pump and fuel pressure regulator appropriate for your carb. Swap to a GSL-SE crossmember or a Racing Beat 12A-to-13B front mount bar. Modify your fan shroud or switch to an electric one for the extra clearance. Modify your exhaust to accommodate the 13B. And that's pretty much it.

Ninja edit: Oh, and if it's an '86+ motor, you'll need a 12A or GSL-SE front cover.
