Motor Swap

Ok i'm sure theres an answer to this question somewhere but i just can't seem to find it. I have one small question before i go on a shopping spree. How hard is it to go from carb to fuel injection and what do i need to make this possible. Your help is appreciated.

*from* carb *to* fuel injection I would think is quite a bit of a bugger to do. With all the power and versatillity you can get out of carbs, why would you want to?

The only times I could see someone going TO fuel injection is when they're going to swap an engine in from a TII or a GSL-SE. In that case, the swap is pretty easy, but the wiring for the ECU aparently is a nightmare. It's possible though, quite a few people on here have done it and would probably be willing to help with that.

Some people doing TII swaps just remove the ECU and Fuel Injection and run carb 'cause it's easier.

Your post topic says "motor swap".. can you give more details of what kind of swap you're thinking of, and why you want FI?

Actually the ECU wiring is really a piece of cake. The problem comes when you have to into putting in a 15 year old engine wiring harness without breaking anything.

If your staying N/A just use a carb.
