You might want to pipe that bypass back in between the turbo and vane meter. Us 2.3turbo ford guys have those damn vam meters also. Running a bypass open to the air will let metered air out of the system and make it go really rich on shifts. If you can get by with running it open like that, you will need to get a one-way check valve for it. Cheap route is a plastic 1" check valve from a hardware store. They are in the plumbing section. If you don't use a one way valve with it open to the air the vacuum at idle and cruise will hold open the valve and the motor will draw air threw it instead of the vane meter.

If you already knew all this, then never mind.

Looking good man . I cant wait for my "budget turbo". Actually, I think thats what Ill deem mine when I start it. Project Budget Turbo . NO ONE STEAL THIS NAME!!

I dont think it does yet . He had it started, but was having trouble with the air temp sensor or something...Right?

yeah the original air temp sensor decided to break on me and a turbo II one dont work with a gslse ecuis not running now in others words
