Wow!! 228hp INCREASE?!?! That's a little hard to believe, but who knows? Anyone one on here going to bid on it? It comes with a rebuilt turbo, exhaust, intercooler, weber carbs, and everything else you need. I would bid on it if I had 1700, but I don't.

I want to see this on somebody's car. you only have 2 days.

That kit rare but it doesnt provide that much HP increase. Not without doing damage from boosting a NA high compression motor. theres only so much air that you can force into the camber.

thats a great deal if anyone has the money, and thats a mindtrain exhaust. although i cant spot a downpipe, im sure its there.

and arock you are wrong, the rotary can take alot of boost as long as there is a fair amount of tuning, there are many people on hear hitting 18-19psi on pump gas.

I would like to know what kind of parts they offer to "convert" a 12a to a 13b.

That sounds kinda fishy aside from a complete swap.

I believe that cartech kit was 250fwhp so 228 to the wheels sounds believeable. I think the guy was just misinformed.

dude, do you work for this company? you advertise this same link on every thread! it's not that high because it's a very rare kit and it includes rebuilt parts. that's still a fair deal.

and high compression + high boost + carbs = THE WIN!

Here is the same turbo kit for sale here, I think his asking price was $700-750 OBO. Personally, I would not go with a "draw-through" type setup. "Blow-through" is the way to go. I think this thread discusses about coolant and fuel issues, and how the car is a ***** to start. However, for his price, Id say its well worth it.

Check it out,
Chris

$1450 isn't high for used parts? If your going to go this route, buy off rotary shack, plus I think his prices are actually cheaper. In fact, most of the ones going on ebay are cheaper as well. I'd just turbo the 12A, thats your best bet.

I would never run my 12a on anything more that 12psi...15 at max...and my motors a complete rebuild...lightened rotors...flywheel...the works...I don't know if I believe that your friend riceburner ran his 12a at 30psi...actually I don't believe that at all!!

Wow thats Crazy
I have a Cartech on my car but not sure if it is the same!!!
The exhaust is absolutly Identical to the original one I got with the car too but had to replace it for Ontario emission standardsr back about 6-8 yrs now!!!
How many kits did cartech make??????

I blew my seals in the 2nd rotor and am curious???If I damage the Turbo is it worth a rebuild or should i move On!!!!!!!Do the Cartech still Hold their own to this day???

As long as its tuned properly, you won't have any problem. There is a guy on here that finished turbo'ng his SE and put 247hp to the rear wheels. The motor had higher mileage, and I believe recently went, but impressive none the less.

I would do a rebuild with street porting, and have the important parts of the turbo kit rebult or inspected as well. (Turbo, carb.) There are plenty of threads on here about turbo'ng your 12A or 13B. The archives has lots of information, and there are plenty of guys on here who can provide you with a lot of tech. info as well. Robert at rotaryshack.com can give you a hand, FB II, and PLENTY of others. Search and check it all out....
