I can get the slots cut exactly the same as OEM part but there is a high rate of damaged parts when done this way. I'm going to do something a little different on my car- I'm thinking about having some rotor shaped vents instead of the slots also with mesh underneath. What do you think?
Also offering the cowl panels in f/glass. These can be made to exact OEM spec with a less hassle than the C/F parts.

sounds good man, I'm all for not damaging them. You're pouring a lot into this **** and I'd hate for you to lose money, maybe if you put fewer holes spaced a bit further apart. I'm guessing that its the thin little pieces in between the open slots that breaks?

^What!? It weighs 1/3 as much as stock pieces. Thats why.
I know that it would be a huge and expensive project, but Ive always wanted CF fenders. a whole CF front clip would save a lot of wieght. and possibilty we might see something in the future?

These covers have better edges than factory covers (no press marks)
If you're building up something special and want a different look these will look hot on your car.
Price for pair of C/F covers with mounting tabs, clearcoated $220USD
