I kind of like the vented headlight cover. Not really a fan of carbon fiber as anything more than weight reduction, but more power to you.

I'm not a fan of the C/F look, but those look pretty good. Add those to a car, with a C/F hood and header panel, and it should look decent.

I can get the slots cut exactly the same as OEM part but there is a high rate of damaged parts when done this way. I'm going to do something a little different on my car- I'm thinking about having some rotor shaped vents instead of the slots also with mesh underneath. What do you think?

Also offering the cowl panels in f/glass. These can be made to exact OEM spec with a less hassle than the C/F parts.

sounds good man, I'm all for not damaging them. You're pouring a lot into this **** and I'd hate for you to lose money, maybe if you put fewer holes spaced a bit further apart. I'm guessing that its the thin little pieces in between the open slots that breaks?

^What!? It weighs 1/3 as much as stock pieces. Thats why.

I know that it would be a huge and expensive project, but Ive always wanted CF fenders. a whole CF front clip would save a lot of wieght. and possibilty we might see something in the future?

So, the new headlight covers save 3 lbs? For what cost $2-300?

These covers have better edges than factory covers (no press marks)

If you're building up something special and want a different look these will look hot on your car.
Price for pair of C/F covers with mounting tabs, clearcoated $220USD

John64- Fair enough if it's not your thing, you can't please all of the people all of the time.
