I know that a maita shifter it self will work but will this in specific?

It looks like it is the right shape to fit correctly. I dont know though. If you do end up trying this and it works make sure and post results.

It'll work if you have a Miata.

There are places that sell Rx specific short shifters, why use guesswork?

thats probly cheaper?? i know what hes saying but DriftFB is right. if i were you i would double check or you will spend more in the long run.

you will have to "shave" the Bottom bushing...Sand it to Make it a smaller diameter,so the bottom will fit in ..suggestion/Punch in Miata Shortthrow shifter Write up...It will tell you Everything.
