I am getting the impression that everbody is misunderstanding what a "diffuser" is, it smoothes the air "under" the car covering the "obstuctions under the rear of the car behind the rear axle. The Blue 3rd Gen and the yellow 3rd Gen mentioned above both have one installed under the rear bumpers, I think some of you were focusing on the "huge wing" on top. Look down.
A front and rear diffuse make the bottom of your car smoother and creates less turbulence thus less drag, add a spitter on the front and you got a extra 3-6 miles per hour....more of less. Just my interpetation on what the spirit of this thread was about.

well im not sure if CP would even consider making the diffuser, but i think it is a good idea. would help out in handling the car at higher speeds thats just my opinion though. im not sure how they would make it look good on a FB, but if they did, id definately look into buying one.

Or maybe, just like my fersion of something funny, is totally different from yours, just like my version of what looks cool on a car is different from yours, why the hell you think I took the time to put a smiley face in the post fro my own health bro? No because it indicates smileing, hence laughter or agreement, or something to that effect. there fore indicating that i am making a joke at the other persons expense. Incidently put what you like on your car, I really don't care.

but I do think the diffuser looks FUGLY, if you had the full rear bumper treatment (looks like the front style skin covers the entire bumper and comes down), then molded said diffuser into match it might be acceptable in my opinion,

now quickly read again, "in my opinion" you don't have to agree with me, don't have to like what I say, you can call me a dick if you want,

I generally don't take offence, but I do get tired of the "Oh you only posted 10 times, your a newb!" one of these days some one real, is gonna post, like maybe saburo murakami, or maybe some one like one of the guys who work at RE amemiya (they got a cat that speaks english really well and I know he haunts the pages here)(probably gets a few laughs from some of the stupidity that floats through here) and one of you idiots are gonna make a real *** outa yourselfs by calling him a newb, and I am litterally gonna die of laughter.

incidently at 38 I probably am a bit of an ***, but then I started racing rotaries back in 1985 with a GSII hmmm whats that you say, it was one of the common names for an RX-3 and i have owned over 20 rotaries since then, and in the same time frame, I only owned about 5 piston cars, a 280Z, a Nissan leopard, a thunderbird, a JZA70 Supra and a GT Mustang, so I would say I have spent some time working and wrenching on rotaries. But i do not know everything, and understand this, thats why I hang out at all of the local tunning shops whenever my wife lets me.

peace be with you and realize I was making a sarcastic joke

Kenn

Difussers are track only. Even then, fast tracks only. The added weight will slow your acceleration, braking and turning, while only helping out at the very top end of what these cars are capable of.

Lets get serious, even around Mosport, which is known for being a very fast track, full race 2nd gens are only hitting 180-200 kph max, right at the end of the straight.

Build your car so that it is fast and pulls 1g cornering, then drive it somewhere where you go more than 100 mph regularily, THEN start talking about difusers and aero aids.

Not likely. But I'm sure Chris works hard like most of us. He needs a good laugh once in a while too and besides, it would be fun to tell a ricer to take a flying **** at a rolling donut.
