First Generation Suspension?

Would second generation springs and struts fit on a first generation? please reply back asap i need to know this by tonight... and i dont mean like "if u have the money anything will" im asking for a serious reply quickly please. a direct bolt on, or minor modifications are okay with me... but would they fit?

Not a direct bolt-in at all, and not what I'd think of as "minor modifications". There are a few threads about this, some recent, but I can't think of the titles. I think more people have done the front suspension than the rear. Rear is much more complex and definitely beyond the "some assembly required" stage.

300ZX twin turbo (and NA also) springs will fit, with some cutting for height. I know the rear fit on mine.
