Measurements on rear control arms?

Anyone have one of these they can measure handy? Length bolt head to bolt head? and width?

Hoping to buy new adjustable units similar to these.

If this is for the upper arm, you are probably going to need a kit to make it parallel with the lower arm first. Since the upper arm has this weird offset going on. Some people also say to not run poly bushings on those arms either, because of the binding that can happen with stiffer bushings. Parallel links *might* help with that? But I'm not fully sure so dont quote me on that

Unfortunately, I cant answer about dimensions, just wanted to make sure you knew about potential issues before getting too far into a project. Hopefully somebody else can chime in with the dimension for the upper and lower links

Edit: I see your 20 year badge now, I assume you already know all this then. My bad lol

Just looking for lowers. I'm running an older grannies speed solid 8.8 rear end kit on this setup. It currently has solid links with adjustable heim joints. Trying to take some of the harshness out of the drivetrain and replace it with "bushing" links.

Thank you!

Mazda OEM! Get them from your local dealership.

(For a stock chassis/rear end)

Didn't even think that was still an option. I'll look into it. Thanks!

Mazdatrix sells them as well, if your local dealer doesn't have any (or is charging an insane amount). https://mazdatrix.com/product/susp-l...r-79-85-lower/

Ouch $151 each! If I can find the measurements I can make one for 1/3 of that. But I appreciate the heads up!

If anyone has measurements on one of these it would be much appreciated!

I have a couple stock lower arms on the shelf, but one is bent pretty bad. The straight one measures 19-11/16" c/c.

Sweet, thanks all. May try something like this then. $110 for the pair and I can modify them if necessary.

Are the mazda units a lot narrower on the bushing ends than 2.2"?

Fab'd lower links that came from me use bigger 5/8" dia bolts, which is the same size as the holes in my rearend brackets.
The holes in the stock SA/FB arms and chassis brackets are sized for metric bolts.

You might want to check the bolts on the chassis end to see if they are gold gr8 bolts that I supplied, which would have required the chassis brackets to be drilled out to 5/8". The original installer might have taken the easy way out and just used stock bolts on the chassis end to avoid drilling out the chassis brackets. Bottom line is if you install stock lower arms, you either have to drill out the original center sleeves to 5/8" or use original size metric bolts.

The original sleeve in the center of the stock SA/FB bushing measures 1.955" long, hole looks to be about .554" dia (14mm).

I can confirm the stock length is 19 11/16 (19.6875) or 500mm.
