I dont know, but it might just be the 79-82 style with the replaceable U Joints. I think the square flange size changed when they switched to the non-replaceable, so if it has the larger flange with replaceable joints then it might be MazdaTrix or aftermarket, but I could be wrong .

dude just take the driveshaft to your local driveline shop and have them match it up. it's simply a matter of measurements. with mid-ohio raceway in the state there's got to be a good shop nearby.
if you want i can give u the phone number of an excellent driveline shop in bakersfield that i and many many other racers use. u can send it to them for match
OH, and a FYI for everyone, on almost all of the 1st gen driveshafts that come apart for new u-joints, the ears that hold the u-joints in place are bent and worn beyond use and really the whole driveshaft should be replaced.
i spent $300 on a 3" diameter new driveshaft with easy to find DODGE yoke, DODGE rear flange and DODGE greaesable replaceable u-joints with thicker better designed ears. and that thing will last longer and handle more power than the stock MAZDA driveshaft does.
for the cheapskates out there, when you own a twenty-five year old car you must expect major components to start failing at any time and you will be spending more $$ than the car is worth to keep in on the road.
off soapbox.

Well my car is not a daily driver and the new u-joints did
get rid of the clunky sound when I shift. The car had 183,000 kms on it when I got it five months ago. I just can't see spending alot on it. If something big goes its off to the junk yard! I am not going to spend big bucks
on the thing. But I do hope to drive it for awhile and I
have lots of little things to fix. I am just going to pick away at it no hurry next thing to do is get the oil cooler fixed.

the bigger, square instead of rectangle flange was 83-85.
i'd keep that puppy
