Smile The Mazda's back in town

Yup thats right. I'm back with a vengence. Made an agreement with the guy who did the work on my car and I got a new engine. It's a badass engine to be exact. Got a 4-port 13B straight from Japan. Streetported already. I mean it's crazy you can see the clutch in the back spinning. There's an opening on the engine where you can see it.

There is one thing that drives me crazy the oil pressure gauge doesn't work. He told me there was no hook up for it since it was from Japan. I just need to buy an oil pressure gauge now just for safety.

I'll get some pics up on here as soon as I can.

Live Long and Prosper

I don't know the clutch, yes everything from the old motor. Carl I'm gonna need your help sometime to get the old pressure gauge done. But it's gona be hard to do because I'm realy busy with school and work.

Cost more money but it's running good. Shorted out the electrical system and the engine died to days ago but it's taken care of took it back to the shop and they fixed it for free.

Carl this engine is bad it's a JDM engine and the owner said it was already ported out. It's nice.

All of the 13Bs that I've ever seen (not too many, mind you, mostly my own) have an oil sender that sits right below the oil filter. It looks like a metal mushroom, about.. 2" in diameter or so. What I did with mine was unscrew the oil sender, cut the mushroom "Head" from the shaft, then tapped out the on the shaft hole for the fitting for my aftermarket oil gauge. Worked very well and I didn't have to worry about tapping the block

Some of those came with a light instead of a guage. You might just need to swap sensors to a guage sensor.

well its a JDM 13B. He said it's because it's a JDM engine that it doesn't work.

Edit: JDM 13B 4-port. so more than likely came from a rx4 or something. It's weird I can see the clutch and pressure plate. There's like a gap in between the ell housing and the rear housing. I'll try and get pics ASAP but it's gona be difficult.

There shold be plates there to cover those holes but not a big deal. I would say the motorcame from an early rx or repu and they had oil pressure light on them instead of a oil pressure guage.
