Mazda Museum site

stop me if this is old news.

I guess, they've put up a "heritage" section on their site:
http://www.mazdausa.com/MusaWeb/disp...azdaMuseumMain

It's better than the obscure Rotary Graffiti section, but their info on the RX-7 history is wrong. And in some parts, the engine displacement is put in place of horsepower. Must've been translated weirdly or the web designer doesn't know a thing about automobiles.

^yeah that's what I was talking about.
They say the second generation is in 1983. Maybe they confused it with Series 1,2,3

wow...........under concepts in the collection, i love the rear end in the RS Coupe, takes after the RX-2 & RX-3. The MX-03 is insane.....3 rotor 4 wheel drive and steering?

But that Cosmo 21 is fantastic, that has to be my fav. Even though it doesn't have a rotary in it, that can be fixed.

they have bad info on there, look under classics at the Rx-7 it says...

"Production 1978-1985 / 1983-1992" What?

And it says the 3rd gen, known as the FD was released in 1985. Some one done f-ed up big on that one.

Actually i think the US Spec car are the only ones that got the 84'-85' S3 dashes. But they do seam to have a lot of mis information on that site.
