Hey all,
I'm planning on switching to FI on my car. I have a 12a which is a 1/2 bridgeport/ streetport, and i picked up a TWM 50mm throttle body. I'm planning on running megasqurit for fuel first and then eventually control the ignition also using a 2nd gen CAS coils and ignitors. What i'm wondering is i have a spare set of SE injectors (680cc), will these be enough for the car as an NA? after i get the tuning down for fuel, then do the tuning with the spark I will be putting a turbo on the car, at that time I already KNOW that i need bigger injectors, i'm still hoping that 2 bigger injectors will be enough since the throttle body has provisions for only 2 injectors.

The 680s will get you started for running NA. Once you go turbo, you really need 2 more. There are injector bungs that can be welded on the intake to add 2 more. There was also a TWM set up for 4 injectors in the parts for sale section recently. Robert at Rotary Shack may be able to help with more info on that. Another option is to use an SE center iron and use those injectors for the primarys, the ones on the tb for the secondarys. That requires a teardown of course, but you can pick up a gasket kit for under 200 bucks.

 

Oooh, SE center iron on a 12A!.... thats something Ive never thought of, and I must say it got me thinking. haha

why didnt you get a 4 injector t/b like this one?
you will have to fab up a fuel rail in the intake manifold if you use the 2 injector t/b

Do you have a plenum to go around that setup for a turbo?
Is it downdraft or side?
Also, since I have a TII block, can I change to a 2 injector model and run injectors in the center iron?
