well, i think that i lost a coolant seal yesterday.
i was driving along and i happened to look back to see nothing but white. (this was mid day, nice and warm out). it was just billowing out my exhaust, sweet smelling too... the car is starting to overheat, so i pull over, and what do i notice... the heater coolant return line has come off. (can enough backpressure in the system do this?)
does anyone have any other ideas, besides coolant in the combustion chamber caused by a bad seal?
is there any way to treat them externaly??
thanks

Bandaid fix is the Bar's Leaks.. But it's only temporary. It WILL have to be rebuilt to fix the seal. Sorry
Good excuse for a ported engine though.

the motor is already streetported. it would be a good excuse to go a little more extreme, except for that i was getting ready to sell it.. i bought a 85 se, wich should be here within the month, and i was going to sell this one once i got that one.
but i will look into bar's leaks to get me through the wait.
