Has anyone thought of putting a triple carb setup off of a 1200 jet ski on a rotary. Mikuni makes a triple 38mm carb setup for racing apps, and you can pick them up cheap as dirt, like $30 shipped. Would these things even work for us. I know it would take a custom intake, but i think i could make one fairly cheap. And yes, Im a cheap bastard, I cant afford the 48 IDA setup. just a thought, whatcha think?

I found the e-bay listing your probably talking about, those carbs are being sold as "for parts only" which probably means theyre inoperable. If you were wild enough to try it one carb would probably have to run both the primaries, while each secondary got its own carb, and while I have no true experience with it Im sure it would have been done if it was worth it. If the three carbs fed into some sort of plenum it might be possible, but with all the tuning youd need to do the Nikki is probably a much better choice. Have you heard of the Sterling carb?
