Question Mariah Hatch (question of value)

Can anyone tell me in their opinion what the street value of a Mariah Motorsports hatch would be? I know brand new they are 1150.00 but lets be realistic in this economy they are probably worth a third of that. Any incite is appreciated.

it is only worth what someone is willing to pay for it.

the real question is how badly do you need the money if you can wait i would say if it is in perfect condition 900$ if it has scratches and paint and has been installed the 400$

This is just my opinion i mean no offense or anything by it me i would only but it for like 200. I just dont like the look and the only way i would buy it is if i new i was getting a big deal.

Yeah i hear you. to be completely honest i have the whole kit but i find the hatch to be a bit.....MUCH. so i decided to sell it separate. I have interest at the 475 price range but wanted to make sure that i wasn't cheating myself. Its in good condition and painted gold. I would rather go back to the stock hatch.

They are still sold at Mariah.. But New they sell for $1,150- If yours is painted & was mounted before-The value is whatever the buyer & seller Agree too--It seems that Ebay lately has been good for mazda rx7 stuff-Try there 1st-you may be surprised at what that Hatch might bring in for you..A 1st gen rx7 sold for over $7500 recently..Good luck with Sale-Dont Burn or get Burned...

that's good information. the downside of Ebay for me however is considering shipping. I just don't want to go through the pain of shipping this thing. its too big and too delicate. I want to sell it to a local who knows what its worth and that they are getting a good deal. I'm sure someone in Socal would like this hatch.

You can do a Auction &have the shipping option as Pickup Only-on Ebay-You might get someone who REALLY wants that hatch & will be willing to pay TOP Dollar And go Pick it up From you After they win the Auction-OR post it here for sale- As a Side note I always liked the Mariah hatch-they are Sleek-

I am sure it would sell real well in Australia. Was12A has one and I am sure he paid a pretty penny to have it shipped over there.

that is true also those aussie guys pay well over 1,900 just to get a new one so a used one in good shape is a deal at 500 plus shipping i would assume it would be around 900 or so total to ship.

I'm assuming you're the guy I've been talking with after your craigslist ad. You posted it at what... 450? I offered 500 to pack it up but since that was too problematic I've got a guy local who can pick it up for me and get it to me sometime later.
Let me know what you're going to do.

Shipping is easy. Mount it on your 7, drive to the buyer, and swap hatches or meet 1/2 way. Swapping hatches isn't difficult, especially with 2 people.
