Hahaha! You guys just crack me up sometimes. Afro, you are right both times. You should take the flapper out of the manifold and plug the hole that it leaves behind with some JB weld putty. Also, it has been proven by several people on the forum that you should also cut a channel between the primary and secondary ports to help to smooth out your idle.

Has anyone went to the extreme and made one large hole out of all 4 holes?
Or would that totally screw up the intake velocity?
So it would kinda look like this, but on an RX-7 manifold, not a V8 manifold.
Or even two large squares kinda like this.
