Lung Butter question

Would I need to run anything (PCV Valve, air vent, etc) on the oil lines on the intemediate housing, one under the oil cap and the one near the oil base? Also, my oil pressure gauge is not working. Is that because I used the wiring from a 79 (no opg) on my 82 or not connecting the wire?

in the case of the lung butter , you should install a tube from the oil filler tube to the intake ... obviously with a valve on it . that will get your lung butter gone . look in the archives to find more info .

Tap into the base of the carb filter or many of the sidedraft intakes have an extra 1/8" barb tapped in.

Could I tee it off from the brake booster line? and this is for both connections on the intermediate housing, correct?

Running a tee in the line to the brake booster is fine. The vacuum line will need a pcv valve in that line from the tee to the oil fill tube. Run a line from the center iron to the air filter housing. If you don't want to do that, you can use a crackcase filter instead and mount it somewhere else. Robbie and I did this on his RB setup on his. Works fine.

The smaller one is the one I was reffering to. I run my vac/boost gauge off of that one. I'm not a fan of tapping into the brake booster line. If the pcv fails or doesn't seal reverse flow, it could compromise brakeing.

Reguarding that second question, 79/80 engines aren't tapped for the oil place gauge so there's no place to simply plug it in. You could fab up a spot along the oil line or there're aftermarket filter bases that are tapped as well. If this is a rebuild it would be a good idea.
