Lucas Transmission Fix for leaking seal

WE have a 79 5 speed RX7 and has a leak in the front transmission seal. I read some comments on Lucas Transmission Fix product that has a good chance of stopping leaking seals. Has anyone had good success with trying the product to eliminate or at least slow down the leaking lid from a bad transmission seal?

Thanks for your help or other suggestions

i have never used it for my transmission but i can vouch for lucas products as i use the heavy duty oil stabilizer and it has helped the smoking of my car quite a bit.

Lucas

I used the Lucas seal swelling product for a leaky auto trans and it slowed the leak from a quart per 1000 miles to a half quart per 5000 miles (oil change interval)
Got 400,000 miles that way before the trans was resealed.
I would try it.

The front seal on the tranny is a thin pice of paper. You would be better off dropping the tranny and replacing the seal, which you may need to do any way if the gear lube has gotten to the clutch. Are you sure it isn't the rear main seal that is leaking?
