LS1 fans in a frist gen?

this has been in my head for a while but does anyone think the LS1 fans will fit and blow enough for a frist gen stock or modded one?

To answer the question, Will they supply enough air volume to cool our motors?
I would have to say yes.
As far as fit. You need to measure one.
There are enough other fans out there that will fit and do the job though.

Early to mid 90s, but make sure and get the one out of a 3.6 liter. The 3.0 liter one will not work, the shape is different. I got mine for 15 bucks and it mores then cools enough with the low speed in traffic on an extremely hot (Alabama) day.
