Most lowering springs are a compromise between ride and handling. The rates are normally a little higher than stock, and a lower ride height, but they are lacking the rates needed for best handling.
They use a higher rate than stock, but lower than what is needed for best handing, in the quest to retain ride quality close to stock.
150 front and 110 rear is not much higher than stock.
Best handling is seen with rates in the 250-350 front and 150-200 rear, but the ride quality is diminished due to the higher spring rates.

the different length coils from re-speed are only available on the race set. The street version will only work with the 7" springs.

However it still gives you a few inches of adjustment and alot of spring rate possibilities

I'm running Tokico Blues with RB springs. Good improvement over the stockers that were on the car, but I'll be going for a little more performance with the RE-Speed stuff within the next year. I thrashed the car at DGRR08 and she held up nicely. That combo can be a little harsh but only over the really rough stuff in the city. Generally it's bearable and your gf shouldn't complain. If she does, she doesn't love you. lol. Good luck man.

nothing.

all of those aftermarket springs give you soft ride and 1" drop.

So basically no drop (when taking into consideration age sag of stock suspension) and soft drop. So in that case buy some shitty cheap springs and cut them.

I still say re-speed as others have said as well. I am currently waiting for mine to come in the mail.

go to www.mazdatrix.com and look at the suspension page. It gives you spring rates and drops of the popular brands. Eibach are also largely unavailable.

You want it low? I've got just what you need, 15-20 year old ST springs. Rides super nice, till you hit anything bigger than a pebble on the road.
I have ~1"-1.5" of travel, before the bumpstops take over, and that's after I trimmed 1.25" off the rear bumpstops.
I'd make someone a killer deal on them, as soon as I get them off, and get the Eibach race springs installed.
