I was $1050 shipped and I had $370 in a donor trans, and another $150 in clutch kit and master/slave cylinder. I am keeping my orig trans as a spare since finding a donor to rebuild was not easy.

So wait, it was only ~ $530 for the rebuild shipped? Dang, that's quite a bit better than I've found, and I'm local to Pineapple so shipping wouldn't be an issue.

Or perhaps I misread that and you meant just the rebuild was $1050 shipped...? That would make a little more sense unfortunately.

I read it as $370.00 to get a core and $1050.00 done and shipped, so ~$1400.00 total.

Sorry for being a bit unclear. His prices are $600-900 depending on what is needed and whether you go with OEM bearings.

I’ll be in for about $1,600 with the clutch parts.

Talked to Rob today and the part that came out is most likely a cracked snapring that is behind the main bearing. Said not to worry about it unless shifting gets impacted or it makes bad noises.
